How long? The answer often depends on the purpose of your video.
Will your Memory Montage be the highlight of a dinner celebration, with all
eyes on the screen? Then anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes will hold their
attention.
If, on the other hand, it is intended to play continously in a lobby setting or
as background accompaniment while others are in conversation, anywhere
from 10 to 60 minutes is appropriate, and we can create a DVD that will repeat endlessly upon request.
Another factor is how many photos you want to show. Allowing 3 to 5 seconds for each photo means that each minute can accommodate an average of 15 pictures (plus or minus depending on the content of each photo; 'busy' pictures with many people or lots to take in deserve more screentime). If you have 150 pictures, figure on 10 minutes. Conversely, if you want a 10 minute montage, keep it down to 150 photos.
Do you have video you'd like to integrate with your photos? We accept AVI, MOV, MP4 and virtually any video format. If the clips are already edited and ready to use, there is no additional cost. If editing is needed or videos are sent on DVD or VHS tape, there is a modest charge to convert and edit. Please let us consult with you prior to sending your materials.
